When a subtle flash of light reveals a life-changing insight...

Sunsets tend to move me, but this one took my breath away. It was our last evening in southern Greece after a long day of hiking and swimming. We took a turn to an ancient chapel as the clouds rushed over the twilight skies and the sun arched its way towards the deep blue Mediterranean. 

Life is just a string of moments, so why not slow down and savour the magic? That is the impulse behind Sucette. 

To create small instances of beauty, to interrupt the mundane, to remind myself of the mysterious forces of nature and how sublime the universe truly is. 

As I watched light turn acid and the vaporous clouds dissipate into indigo I also felt my soul drink up the magic. 

Now as I plan my next projects (a SIN Dress pairing guide, an art residency and exhibition, a Paris popup) in my still unfinished atelier beneath the Paris skies, drinking in sound of rain on glass, I am reminded of that moment.
